No, the COSMOS-certified Cynatine in the formula comes from sheep's wool. Its patented process is unique, preserving the native amino acid profile is the reason for its selection in the formula.

The Hair Essential formula does not stimulate hair growth on the whole body. This is because the growth factors stimulated by the Hair Essential formula (involved in hair growth) are different from those involved in hair growth. What's more, our formula doesn't boost testosterone production, so there's no risk of increased hair growth or on additional areas of the body (face...).
Folic acid is a form of folate (B9). In order to be used by the body, folic acid must undergo several stages of transformation in order to be converted into 5-MTHF (5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid) via specific enzymes. The form of Vitamin B9 used in our l'Essentiel Cheveux formula corresponds to 5-MTHF (the active form of folate), so it doesn't need to undergo a multitude of reactions to be assimilated by the body. This means it can be absorbed more quickly by everyone.
Growth can be influenced by various factors (genetics, hormones, growth factors and exogenous factors). Even though the hair cycle is long, we have chosen active ingredients that have a direct and rapid action on the different stages of hair growth (anagen, catagen, telogen).
All the active ingredients in the formula act as ‘nutrients’ for the hair, acting on different factors that influence the growth, shine and quality of the hair fibre.
Patented Pea Shoot Extract acts on growth factors (FGF and Noggin).
Keratin is an essential nutrient for the hair fibre, as it is its major constituent.
Horsetail extract contains silica. Silica is involved in the synthesis of the extracellular matrix, enabling the synthesis of collagen and elastin, nutrients which improve the health of the hair fibre. The result is less hair loss and stronger, shinier hair.
Zinc maintains healthy testosterone levels without boosting them, helping to delay the onset of the telogen phase (hair loss).
Finally, Eleutherococcus has a stress-limiting action.
Hair imbalance can be caused by a number of factors, including environmental pollution, oxygenation, stress, an unsuitable hair routine, poor diet, etc.
The high production of free radicals on the surface of the scalp can cause excess sebum (dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis, etc.), leading to abnormal anchoring of the hair fibres. This poor anchoring can lead to brittle, fragile hair.
